It wouldn't be a regional without bad weather in St Louis!

For the third year in a row, the All American regional is interrupted by weather but the games go on.  The Bantam match up between the Tour Blast and Tour Jr Mudcats Green was stopped twice during a tornado warning as a possible touchdown was reported 2 miles from the rink.  Of course this is old hat for the local teams and they handled it in stride as everyone took shelter in the main hallway.  Just before the storm set in, the Peewee game between the Tour Blast 2002 (12U playing up) and the Tour Jr Mudcats Green was a great grudge match.  The Mudcats ended up pulling away in the 4-1 win but it was tight throughout the game and could be a Tier 1 semi-final preview.

We have the weather voodoo doll out now so hopefully no more delays and the games can be played without interruption.  With just less than 6 hours of hockey remaining, the teams are not in the mood for more warnings unless its from the guys in stripes!  More to come later from the A team in St Louis.
