Winter Cup Living Up To It's Name
Well I boarded the plane this morning laughing because it was negative 2 degrees in Detroit and I was under the impression that I was in for some great weather in North Carolina this weekend, but as soon as we touched down in Raleigh I realized how wrong I was. At 1:00 this afternoon the roads were packed because schools had been let out, and many companies had already sent their employees home for the day. I had officially brought the Michigan weather down south with me. It was so cold that after a few hours of setup Joe's car was literally frozen shut, and since you don't need ice scrapers in Florida we piled in with Brad from Tour Hockey to get back to the hotel to change and get ready for opening night.
This is my first trip to DreamSports and I see why everyone has been raving about this place. It is by far one of the cleanest facilities I've been in and the staff is friendly, helpful, and just a great group to work with.
We only have a few games going this evening, but make sure that you keep up to date with all of the scores by visiting our schedule link. http://www.torhs2hot4ice.com/stats/tournament_scoreboard/TORHS%202Hot4Ice/2013
Tomorrow morning the fun really starts with all of the little guys coming in. We have a pretty awesome setup here with the inflatable mini stick rink and the XBox-360 running NHL 13 so make sure you check back often for blogs and photo updates.
