Championship Sunday
There's no better way to spend a Sunday prior to the Super Bowl then watching more great roller hockey here in North Carolina. The buzz is great again here at Dreamsports because all of the trophies, medals, and awards are just a few hours away from just being a thought to being a reality to all of these players. I know that "The Big Game" is next weekend, but to all of these youngsters here this is truly the Super Bowl to them.
Our first Championship game of the day is in the Pee Wee division between the Dragons and Speed. The first time these two teams met the Dragons came out on top 4-1 in a hard fought matchup. For the Speed to come out on top they're going to have to do something that no team has been able to really do so far, and that is get to Dragons goalie Victor Paluzzi. Victor won our skills competition for 14 & under yesterday afternoon, and has been virtually unbeatable all weekend giving up just 3 goals. It's going to be an up and down game the only question is will we have our first "upset" of the day!
Keep an eye on the website all mornings for score updates, blogs, and championship photos!
