Congratulations to the 2007 Home Care/TORHS PRO Series Winners PRO Tier I Rink Rat - 1st Place L.A. Pama Cyclones - 2nd Place PRO Tier II The SkateZone Veterans - 1st Place $10,000 Teams below have qualified for the TORHS PRO Series at the 2008 TORHS America National Championships 2008 TORHS PRO Series Format TORHS America will offer PRO Series qualifiers at each of the TORHS Regionals. Entry Fee Regional Tournaments $535 Winter Cup Finals $650 National Championships $835 The top international junior teams, such as Team Canada and Team USA , will also have an opportunity to qualify for the Tour Tier II Pro Series by participating in a TORHS America event prior to the nationals. 1. TORHS America will offer PRO Series qualifiers at each of the TORHS Regional events. 2. Teams in each regional will qualify for the National PRO Championship Tournament for either Tier I or Tier II. 3. No prize money will be awarded at the regional level, all prize money will be awarded for the Winter Cup Finals and the Nationals at the National Championship Tournament, schedule in July, 2007. 4. If you do not qualify for the Pro SERIES you will be invited to participate in the Adult Divisions (Gold, Silver and Bronze) at the Nationals. 5. TORHS reserves the right to combine the PRO with the Adult division at the Regional event. The TORHS PRO Series National Championships will play for prize money to be announced. Cancellation of a regional qualifier: If a regional qualifier is cancelled for any reason, teams must then qualify at another regional. No teams will qualify as per a cancelled event. All teams/players must read the rules that govern the PRO Series, see below. Rules and Regulations* Jersey Requirements: All teams must have matching home/away uniforms. Rosters 1. Each team is limited to 15 player roster, including all players participating in multiple regional events. 2. All players must qualify - with exception of three players may be added or replaced not to exceed 15 players total for the 2007 season. 3. Each non qualified player added and/or replaced will be a $200 per player fee. Paid in advance to the roster being submitted. 4. Injured players can be replaced under the above rule #3. Same guidelines will apply. 5. Players must play in a regional qualifier to play at the National Championships 6. If a player plays for one team in a regional qualifier the original team has the rights to that player. (Coach of the original team must give a written release via e-mail to the TORHS Office). Player can then be picked up be another team, but must play with the new team at a qualifier or become a non qualifying player under rule #3. 7. Players will not be allowed to compete in Tier I and Tier II both. PLAYERS CAN ONLY COMPETE IN ONE DIVISION. 8. If a team competes in the PRO Series, with a sponsors name that is not a TORHS sponsor, TORHS will not allow any promotion of that name, via team announcements, posters, etc. If that non TORHS sponsor wants to participate in the PRO Series, there will be a one time fee of $500 per team for the season.
